MDSolarSciences Broad Spectrum: "Green" Sunscreen!

I'm literally obsessed with this product. It's perfect for underneath makeup and everyday use. Aside from being ultra protective against both UVB and UVA radiation, (preventing skin cancer and melanoma amongst several other threats to the skin) it's so superlatively, absolutely, silky-smoothy to rub on!

I have gone through 2 tubes of this stuff in the past couple of months...that's how much I love to put it on :P

What's best about this product is that it's 100% free of harsh chemicals, dyes, fragrances and it's also eco-friendly...containing NO OCTINOXATE (which has been a killer of the ocean's lovely lovely coral reefs).

Visit their site to sell what wonderful products they sell. And GUESS WHAT?! They've got an amazing amount of on-site research about skin cancer, skin care and so forth.

Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes

I once read in one of those late-teen magazines that if you apply your mascara laterally then your lashes will appear to be a lot longer than they actually are.

With a normal applicator, this can be a difficult task.

Mascara is something I am very particular about. I refuse to give certain mascaras a second chance after they betray me. And by betray I mean commit one of the following:

1.) Leaving residue on my face: Those tiny black dots that appear beneath your eyes because the mascara was too loose or watery. Smearing.

2.) The infamous spider-eyes. It's disgusting when your lashes stick together because the applicator was wack or the consistency of the mascara itself is just too thick.

3.) Crumble. I can't stand when a mascara claims to transform my lashes into something "voluminous" and by that this means tiny black crumbs will appear at the end of my lashes.

Givenchy's Phenomen' Eyes is properly named in that it is phenomenal. Never have I used a mascara before and was this satisfied with the results. I bring it with me everywhere. Here is what you get for about $24 bucks, girls:

1.) Awesome and precise applicator; making it easy to accentuate your eyes down to the lash.

2.) That fluttery, butterfly-eye wink. This mascara feels weightless, giving your eyes a flirtatious winky-winky look.

3.) Easy application, easy wash-off at the end of the night.

...And with Givenchy you will NOT get any of the following:

1.) Spider-Eyes
2.) Crumbly Eyes
3.)Black-dot-betrayal.

I think every girl should at least give this mascara a try. I love love love it.

Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation SPF 15

I've been a MAC foundation girl for years. I love the dramatic and sexy look that can achieved with the right colors and the right brushes. Unfortunately, I wasn't blessed with good skin, so I felt a great urge to switch foundations when my skin kept breaking out. I felt like I was piling on my makeup heavier to cover up the acne the makeup was creating. What a frustrating cycle! So, I went to the Bobbi Brown counter because to me, Bobbi Brown is the epitome of natural looking makeup. I was matched and the makeup guy put the skin foundation on me. It's purpose is to give moderate coverage while looking like natural skin. No more cakey-ness on your upper lip that mixes into your lip gloss! My breakouts have disappeared and my makeup looks great. I recommend this foundation for anyone who wants to look like Prince, minus looking like a man. =)

Love ya,
Jackie

Thierry Mugler's Alien Eau de Parfum

I'm going through a phase where I'm trying to update my perfume collection and throw out some old scents that defined a younger me. Yesterday at Dillards I walked by the perfume counter and nonchalantly sprayed myself with the first cool-looking bottle there. It happened to be Thierry Mugler's Alien. I had been a previous fan of Thierry Mugler's Angel, but due to the many girls I know who wear or covet it, I wanted a different scent. It is just as adult as Angel, but with a mysterious twist. I couldn't put my finger on the notes in it. It just reminds me of rich cashmere and a night on the town. It's the scent that when people smell you, it just draws them in. It comes packaged in a rich purple bottle called a "stone." This eau de parfum solidifies richness.

Loving it,
Jackie

MAC Lipstick in Creme D'Nude

So suttle. So sexy.

Makes my lips stand out while maintaining an overall balance to my appearance.

I like my eyes to be the most striking portion of my face.

I always doll up with bright eyeshadow. Thus Creme D'Nude is perfect for my puckers.

...And it won't leave any marks on your beau's cheeks...(tee-hee!)

XoXo,
Seema

MAC Turquatic Perfume

This chic, spunky scent is perfect for a night out in the city.

It's cute compact size makes it easy to just throw in your purse on the way to work, your favorite bar or restaurant.

The scent is quite redolent: it has that fresh-aquamarine-in-your-face-pretty-face aura about it. Wear it consecutively for a week and notice the changes. It will definitely spunk you up up up.

And ladies, men are always taking note of when a woman smells sexy. When wearing Turquatic, my boyfriend always notices and makes the sweetest comments...

Cheers,
Seema

Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Shampoo/Conditioner

This duo is both earthy in scent and color.

My hair has a tendency to become oily throughout the day. The B & B seaweed shampoo and conditioner work well together-- promoting a fresh look. I can use it every day and avoid that icky-greasy-build-up feeling which casts a dark shadow over my afternoons.

These products are made for the active girl, one who doesn't have time to shower twice a day...

Stay Pretty,
Seema
